Sabah trip-Part 2

Imma blog about the nice places in Tamparuli & Kundasang（*+﹏+*）On d 2nd day,we went to this hanging bridge,“Jambatan Tamparuli”:built for the use of vehicles and pedestrians on flood times. This is 1of the unusual bridge which is of my intrigue. It is supposed to be a road but then it's so deep in the middle that it turns into river on rainy days? How interesting! In fact, there's a song named after this hanging bridge *how sweet* Should've been listed as one of the seven wonders, Malaysia version (-.-v)

Next destination is Mount KK,woohoo! Just posing for the entrance ;p Well,i've also enclosed the trails if u plan to climb d mountain. Hope it helps ^.^ On our way up to Kinabalu park,the fog swirled across the mountain, the wind howled and the rain lashed against our face,we braved ourselves....to take pictures =.= *siao* But,then again,wouldn't it be a waste if you don't snap a shot after all the effort of driving up & climbing up?

Luck it seems,we had an eye feast on that day on our way to Poring Hot Springs, we spotted the Rafflesia center!!! And we even had the luck to see the sight of this Spectacular Flower in bloom ‵(*>﹏<*)′ All d effort of the short jungle trekking under the rain paid off when we saw the Queen of Flower is in its prime (^_^)∠※ signing-off-for-now-till-we-meet-in-part3: sassycat

Sabah trip-Part 1

Yo!I'm back! All the way from Negeri di Bawah Bayu:Sabah ^^ I flew with Sabah boy on Jan 15 by MAS to KK, a beautiful city oozed with serenity yet a modernised state capital. Took us about 2hrs+ to reach KKIA (Kota Kinabalu International Airport) departing from KLIA. Here are some of the snippets on our MAS flights ∩__∩y

We begin our adventure with Proboscis Monkey River Cruise. The river & the surrounding forest were peaceful despite the KILLING mosquitoes there! Word of warning: If u were to short pants/skirts,do apply the mosquito repellent else u'll risk getting a swollen leg like me
//(ㄒoㄒ)// Coming back,we managed to spot a family of about 10-15 proboscis monkeys foraging on a tall leafy tree. In case u r lazy to google about 'Proboscis' monkey,it is actually called 'Long-nosed monkey'. We watched them for awhile, observe & photograph them. Apparently,they live only in Borneo & are under risk of extinction. Looking@the pictures,it is sad to learn that this exotic species are now coming into extinction ︸_︸

Jalan-Jalan Cari Makan:10 Jan 2010

Hey,peeps! This week is all about food,yay (^_^v) Last Sunday,me had luncheon with Margie and Maggie in Fusion Haven Cafe & Restaurant at Sri Petaling. It has been a while since i last saw Maggie and boy,she looks so cheerful and prettier these days. Really miss her sitting behind me@office last time when she always greet me with big smile & chirpy chat early in the morning brighten up our days ^^

The cafe has a simple & cosy interior design but the food was superb! The presentation of the food was attractive,sumhow reminds me of the servings in hotel. *stare lovingly for 5 mins before taking my 1st bite* It serves different flavor of food from few countries like Vietnam, Russia, Japan, Korea, Western & oths. Strangely,they greet us in Japanese when we walked in 'douitashi mashite'(^_^)∠※

Warm Hearts Chocolate & Ice Cream,my love *melts*









This is one of the best desserts i've tried so far...The melting hot chocolate flowing out from the choco muffin adding to the icey-cold rasberry ice-cream was simply heaven #^_^# It was love at first bite ^^ P/s:Mz try for all dessert lovers!









On a random food post,the other day,I tried Hakka food in Eiffel Restaurant@Jln Lancang,Tmn Seri Bahtera. The name reminds me of Eiffel Tower,Paris. Thought it is a French restaurant but it's a decent Chinese restaurant serving Hakka food.



Kam Heong pan mee,D's favourite dish but it's abit too salty for me...

Fried rice with salted eggs, my fav.∩__∩y It tastes like how it looks. No fancy presentation, just nice taste for me, but maybe lacked the oomph~

2010 resolutions

Happy New Year,peeps!

I was jogging with adeline & eric the other day,when this question popped out. "What's your reso this year?" This is tough. I always find New Year's resolutions are hard to be kept. I thought about resolving to every girls' wish: to lose weight.It would be nice to shed off afew kilos so to look less chubby in pics (*>﹏<*)

To reminiscence 2009,it was a bliss for me,I got to know my dear and we became an item. Also,I got to go places that i've never been with D. I know i'm kinda jacun but Phuket,Ipoh,Broga Hills,Bukit Cahaya,Penang & lots more were fantastic. This year,I wish to travel to more places with D and to share our travel moments together #^_^#

Then I thought of friends and family members I see less these days.I hope to be a better friend in 2010:more caring,smses,facebook updates & catch-up sessions.All for "girlfriendology" =p As for family members,i recalled once my little cousins were staying overnight@my home,the feeling was so warm when i told them bedtime stories,share laughter at our silly jokes, brought them for a sumptuous lunch & follow by shopping thereafter. It was simple but a moment to be cherish ^_^

I've never learn to cook even though I've always like to try out different types of food though i can't take alot o_O　Well,remember,there's the to-lose-weight reso to be kept as well^^ This year,I would like to start a new hobby:cook. Yea,it could not be that hard right? After all,i cook spagetthi *look up* To start off,i'm gonna kickstart with mum's cooking before going for the complicated ones...Wish me luck!

Ever since I work,i've turned into an ogre shopaholic. I would considered myself a prudent shopper previously but not since after i start working.Blame it on the extra cash or stress,i find my mind always linger to "wat-to-buy whenever i've free time. It seems like i find excuses to buy anything i came across even if i've extra or of no use.（*>.<*）This year,i want to SAVE MONEY! For a better future (^.^v

Ok-Doks,guess that's all about it. Not too overwhelming,i think.All for a better & a happier person. Hope to bring this on so wish me luck,folks (^_^)∠※
